Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani has called for collective efforts among Islamic countries to deal with the problems gripping the Muslim world, saying the issues must be resolved through “non-military” solutions. “If there is a problem in the Muslim world, we should make efforts [for the issue] to be resolved through non-military means,” the Iranian chief executive said in a Tuesday meeting with Sudan’s new Ambassador to Tehran Adel Ibrahim Mustafa. Rouhani further said “the problems and challenges facing the Islamic world have to be resolved through the participation of Muslim countries,” adding, “We hope not to witness war and bloodshed in the region in the future.”

US #drone strikes killing many more than intended, report says – Wikileaks

The U.S. is killing far more people than intended in some drone strikes, according to a report likely to raise new questions about the Obama administration’s reliance on drones in its battle against Islamic terrorists.  The Intercept, in a wide-ranging set of articles on the U.S. drone program, reported that in one five month-period, nearly 90 percent of people killed by strikes in an operation in northeastern Afghanistan were not the intended targets. The news outlet reports documents detailing Operation Haymaker show that the campaign, that lasted between January 2012 and February 2013, killed more than 200 people, but only 35 were the intended targets. Wait, What: Saudi Arabia Sides with Putin | Daily Stormer

That face Putin makes whenever Obama says or does anything.

Putin has announced that his operation in Syria is more successful than the operations of the West.

In all fairness, Putin, the only reason the US wasn’t destroying ISIS is because ISIS is its ally against Assad. So comparing what you’re doing to what the ZOG did isn’t really a fair comparison.

Bloomberg:

Russian President Vladimir Putin defended his air and cruise-missile strikes on terror targets in Syria as two Saudi Arabian officials softened their government’s position on the fate of Bashar al-Assad.

Putin discussed his Syria campaign on Sunday with Saudi Arabia’s Defense Minister Mohammed Bin Salman, who signaled a willingness to let al-Assad remain in power longer, while the foreign ministers of both nations also met to consider the situation in Syria.

Wow, that’s a step.

Watch “Special Bulletin [1983]” on YouTube

In this movie, a terrorist group brings a homemade atomic bomb aboard a tugboat in the harbor of Charleston, South Carolina in order to blackmail the U.S. Government into disabling its nuclear weapons, and the incident is caught live on television. The movie simulates a series of live news broadcasts on the fictional RBS Network.

President Putin, part one – Videos – CBS News

Whatever your (western propaganda) view of Uncle Vlad, this is a great interview wherein he once again shows why he is so incredibly popular in Russia and formidable in the world.  Bully for him!

Putin: All countries should respect Ukraine’s sovereignty

OK I admit it. I LOVE Vlad!

The sovereignty of all states, including Ukraine, should be respected, Russian President Vladimir Putin told CBS’s ‘60 Minutes,’ stressing that he knows “for sure” that the US was involved in the ouster of President Yanukovich in 2014.

Speaking to veteran journalist Charlie Rose, Putin said that Russia respects the sovereignty of Ukraine, adding that “at no time in the past, now or in the future has or will Russia take any part in actions aimed at overthrowing the legitimate government.”

The Ethiopian Fashion Tribe that turns Nature into Haute Couture | Messy Nessy Chic

ethio

Remember when you tried to get creative and bejewel your jean shorts or decorate your new tennis shoes with a Sharpie pen? Well this is not that. In the Omo Valley of southern Ethiopia, the Surma and Mursi people don’t have glue guns, sewing machines, sequins or Sharpies to accessorise with. Inspired by the tools and textiles provided by nature alone, these ancient African tribes manage to create their own unique fashion that could easily rival and certainly influence the avant garde looks of Haute Couture Fashion Weeks around the world.

U.S.- #Israel Conflicts of Interest Now Impossible to Ignore – Reason.com

usisraelflags

Thanks to the Iran nuclear deal, something remarkable is happening in American politics: the irreconcilable conflict of interest between most Americans on one side and Israel and its American supporters on the other is on full display and impossible to ignore. In the past the conflict could be papered over with grand empty rhetoric about the two sides being in “lock-step” and the absence of “daylight” between them. But no more. The conflict is out in the open where everyone can see it. Iran should be thanked for this valuable service.

War with Iran would be a catastrophe not only for the Iranians, including thousands of Jewish Iranians who openly practice their religion in their ancient community, and other people in the Middle East; it would also be a catastrophe for Americans—hence the conflict of interest between most Americans and the war party. Those, like Tom Cotton, Norman Podhoretz, Bill Kristol, and John Bolton, who think an attack on Iran would be a cakewalk, are either liars or fools. These are the same people, of course, who said the Iraq war would be easy and would usher in a new liberal Middle East. The result has been unspeakable sectarian violence throughout the region, culminating in the Islamic State and a reinvigorated al-Qaeda

Thank goodness they’re not evil! – How Google Could Rig the 2016 Election – – POLITICO

image

America’s next president could be eased into office not just by TV ads or speeches, but by Google’s secret decisions, and no one—except for me and perhaps a few other obscure researchers—would know how this was accomplished.

Research I have been directing in recent years suggests that Google, Inc., has amassed far more power to control elections—indeed, to control a wide variety of opinions and beliefs—than any company in history has ever had. Google’s search algorithm can easily shift the voting preferences of undecided voters by 20 percent or more—up to 80 percent in some demographic groups—with virtually no one knowing they are being manipulated, according to experiments I conducted recently with Ronald E. Robertson.
